The Project
Abbiamo realizzato lo spot TV di punta 2024 del brand Altromercato, un film emozionale prodotto interamente in CGI. Ci porta dentro il mondo del cioccolato, svelando la storia che c'è dietro la sua produzione. Lo spot parla ai consumatori consapevoli, che scelgono un prodotto capace di fare bene a sé stessi e ai produttori. Un messaggio simboleggiato da tessere di domino a forma di tavolette di cioccolato che cadono, lasciandone in piedi una sola: quella della scelta consapevole, l'unica che fa davvero la differenza.
The Project
We created the 2024 flagship TV spot for the Altromercato brand, an emotionally-driven piece produced entirely in CGI. It takes us through the world of chocolate, revealing the story behind its production. The spot speaks to conscious consumers who choose a product that benefits both themselves and the producers. This message is symbolized by domino pieces shaped like chocolate bars that fall, leaving only one standing—the piece of conscious choice, the one that truly makes a difference.
PIECES OF CGI
Il progetto è stato realizzato con tecniche diverse. Partendo dalla ricerca sulle materie prime del cioccolato e sul processo di produzione delle tavolette, abbiamo ricreato il materiale del cioccolato in Substance Painter, sfruttando il workflow SBAR integrato con Redshift e Cinema 4D. Le simulazioni di fluidi e corpi rigidi sono state prodotte con C4D e X-Particles.
PIECES OF CGI
This project was crafted using a variety of techniques. Beginning with research into the raw materials of chocolate and the process of making chocolate bars, we recreated the chocolate material in Substance Painter, utilizing the SBAR workflow integrated with Redshift and Cinema4D. Fluid and rigid body simulations were then produced using both C4D and Xparticles.

COMP GRADING AND COLOR
Tutto il compositing è stato completato in After Effects con un meticoloso lavoro sugli AOV 3D, sfruttando le possibilità più recenti di questi software. L'intera produzione è stata sviluppata in workflow ACES, che ci ha permesso di rifinire anche i dettagli più piccoli.
COMP GRADING AND COLOR
All compositing was completed in After Effects with meticulous 3D AOV work, utilizing the latest possibilities these tools offer. The entire production was developed within an ACES workflow, enabling us to fine-tune even the smallest details.
